About the Event
The premier non-national kickoff event of the season! We are back for Volume 3 of the World Famous Winter Throwdown hosted at beautiful Callahan Speedway. One of the fastest short tracks in the country. Pro, Amateur, Hooligan, Youth and Vintage classes. Randy Texter Pro Memorial Dash for Cash. Jon Reid Amateur Memorial Dash for Cash. Motorcycle limbo contest. Product giveaways in each class. Podium ceremony for each class. Strider race during intermission. Friday night practice from 6pm-9pm. Sunday rain date. More details and sponsors to be announced soon.
Friday night practice: $25 Friday night spectator: $10 (Riders don't have to pay this) Saturday night wristband: $20 (Everyone through the gate, we will be strict on checking wristbands) Saturday night amateur classes: $40/class Saturday night pro classes: $50/class (100% payback)
*Camping is free, but don't abuse this because if we find people not getting wristbands on Saturday, this will be the last year for free camping at the track. You can get your Saturday wristbands on Friday night. This is new for 2021.
*We are AMA sanctioned in 2021 and will be following the AMA Rulebook.
